Supremacy 1914 is a grand strategy multi-player online game set in World. As well as the number of Victory Points they have accumulated. A coalition victory will give each member the same amount of goldmarks, and the other players will get nothing. In case of a solo victory the first second and third player will receive a set amount of goldmarks, plus every active player will receive an amount of goldmarks equal to the points they had in that game when it finished (special maps.

Personally, I won as Italy in what concluded with a technology war. I was lucky as a friend who introduced me to the game ran me through basic technique etc.

Enabling me to make a strong start. The game finalised with myself and Sweden having a similar number of provinces, army size etc. We both agreed war was not a great option. I'm unsure if the other player just grew bored of constantly updating the buildings in his/ her provinces, but within the last day of the game I overtook them!

Closest victory I've ever encountered. So what happened in your first game? Beginners luck or learnt the harshness of Supremacy mistakes early on?. Oh, that was years ago. A friend from Tribal Wars introduced me to Supremacy, and we joined a Europe game together. I was Spain, he was Italy.

He walked me through the basics, and we did pretty well. I don't remember everything, but I'm pretty sure we made it to the end with a good share of the points. However, I played a Great War map at the same time as Central USA, which went pretty poorly, due to a fixation with working with both North and South USA, which turned out to be bad strategy. Tl;dr: I slaughtered nearly a million troops on my beaches over the course of a week with few losses of my own. Enemies and non-enemies were amazed, some even supported me by sending me supplies as the days ground on. I was allowed to keep my capital by my enemy for the valiant defense I gave. The Loooooong story:I conquered and built an Algerian empire in Africa. I didn't know what I was doing early on but I made progress taking half of Africa.

I was not very efficient when I look back now. Lol.I was attacked by the players ranking 1st, 2nd and 5th on the list. SCanada, Great Britain and Italy (Italy was the real snake in the wood pile. A dirty Goldmark spender. This guy would create Battleships and RGs instantly)Anyhow SCanada and GB attempted over and over again to make beach landings against fortress Africa. I slaughtered them ranging from 10-to-1 all the way up to 20-to-1 losses over a week.Highlights:My Battleship 'Iskandar' force marched through the night to reach the first invading inf navy I spotted in the middle of the ocean. I did massive damage on a beach landing of 180 Canadian Inf in the lower southwest corner corner of Africa.

The remaining 130 inf were annihilated by my infantry on the beach. My second and final Battleship 'Sword of the Prophet' sank the HMS 'Paul McCartney' on a 1 on 1 fight at Gibraltar. My BB was sunk in a fight against the HMS 'John Lennon' coming down from GB the next day.The second attack came from GB from Gibraltar into Algiers, Africa. I had rail setup with multiple armies that would slide up and down the rail to hit the beaches. 90 GB inf slaughtered (20-to-1 ratio in losses)The third attack came accross into Tangiers from Spain again but this time it was SCanada. Another slaughter. Too many of theirs lost to count. The fourth attack again on Tangiers from GB bringing a battleship.

He thought the BB would make the difference. Nope, slaughter. I even caught the BB with my land troops against the BB that was trying to bombard very deep. Sank it with few losses and then ran back the rail to safety.Over and over again. ALmost every night at 1am my time the attacks would start.

One a night for a week. I had to check the game every three hours for that week because I never knew when they were coming even though I had some spotters in the ocean which were chased constantly to no avail. Eventually they would overcome me just due to the logistics. They had far more provinces and the sophistication of their armies increased daily - more and more mech equipment coming at me.I was getting messages from players I never talked too. SCanada was actually congratulating me on slaughtering his and GB troops. GB was sulking because he wanted to beat me up for some minor spy incident earlier in the game.

It was petty. Anyway, people were cheering me on and the newspaper was horrific list of casualties for my enemies. My losses were so minimal that I had trouble feeding my army it was so large. I was taking grain donations from their enemies. On the fifth day, I had noticed agents were very active.

I decided that they would use spies to try to knock out my railroads in Tangiers since I was effectively moving troops up and down the rail to slaughter them in Tangiers. I caught 7 canadian spies in Tangiers that Day change. On the sixth day, I had enough. I couldn't continue to set an alarm and wake up in the middle of the night to check. I would wake up and see the forces crossing the strait, so I would give orders, set a timer on my iphone and then go back to bed. Wake up and slaughter them.

This happened many nights.Anyway, I had enough. I told them in the Newspaper they had 24 hours to try to invade before real-life takes priority (I needed proper sleep)All this time while dealing with powerful countries assailing my beaches I had to deal with Italy who was attacking me over land for a week. I was holding Italy back and taking provinces against him while dealing with the other two on those beaches. Italy even tried to take my capital but wanted to save time so he tried a beach landing at my capital. I had mastered that earlier in the week.

I slaughtered him. He was not a very good player.Anyway they did not succeed in that 24 hours (7th day) even though the multiple railguns and BBs were making my defenses slowly erode. I dont think I could have hold out for more than one more night. I think on the 9th night I would have succumbed but it was over. 24 hours elapsed so I took everything I had and went East to beat up on Italy for being a snake while Canada took my provinces with my blessing.SCanada for my heroic defense of Africa allowed me to keep my capital and stay in the game.

I had 20 spies and huge stockpiles to torture Italy with. Italy took my capital three weeks later though. (I had transferred my 1.4 million coin to another player:p)The game started on October 6th, 2014 and ended in early December. It was one of the top ten epic gaming experiences of my life:). My first game went really well!It was on the Asia map. I thought I should start with the smaller maps before I began a Great War map.I played as the Republic of China. I immediately took Taiwan and made friendly relations with Manchuria so that I wouldn't have to worry about my northern border, which was good because soon Southern China attacked me.

I took him out after surviving a few waves of his troops.I believe by this time, I made friends with Japan (and in turn Burma because they were friends). He took over Manchuria and we both shared borders with the now large Mongolia. Burma was taking over India and Japan and I began to pick away at Mongolia. Luckily, I used some pretty good strategies with my troops and artillery to defeat the much larger Mongolian forces. After that, Burma had British India (he absorbed it from a friend) and India, Japan took over the Philippines, and I took French Indochina. That's where I clashed with the Federated States of Malay, who had been slowly creeping up the peninsula.

With all three of us, we were able to sweep him up easily, and we ended it with one of those things where if there are only three players left, the players can vote for the game to end.I think my active playing of Diplomacy (online version) and good choice of allies really paid off. And Burma actually browses this subreddit! He's chiefoneball, briefly France in our game and bigredone here on reddit. British India (VunderVeasel) is also here! And I've actually never been completely wiped out yet! Bound to happen soon though.

Tribes2 is, almost, completely fought in the Big Great Outdoors. Maps can range for several 'miles', and battles can cover large areas.

I feel bad for not going point for point through my first game but it was so long ago I hardly remember it.:PI've only ever played the Asia map as British India and found it really enjoyable! Although I was playing with a school friend which made tactics a lot easier.Did you get much help in 'how to play?'

Unless I'm mistaken I don't believe the tutorial was there when I began so interested to see if anyone else had to deal with this (or if I'm imagining it!). If a friend hadn't have helped with the learning curve (which to be fair is very small) I don't know whether I would have bothered carrying on with the game!.

The tutorial only covered how to march and attack, which is pretty simple. I had to go on YouTube and watch videos about the economic aspect and what the hell each resource did. Honestly, the tutorial is garbage. I wouldn't be surprised if new players were immediately turned away from the game.Other than that, I was completely plunged into the game with no help. I built factories a fews day late and I had to ask in the Help channel what the railways and harbors did. I'm surprised I wasn't completely wrecked. I'm currently in my first game actually.

I'm West Libya. At the start I partnered up with East Algeria. Captures some provinces and then got in a war with Arabia.

With the help of East Algeria I managed to survive, but all 3 parties decided that the war was useless so we teamed up. Currently East Algeria is invading the Southern US and Arabia just finished invading the Ottoman Empire. I just finished invading Greece and Serbia, with Finland and the German Empire also taking some provinces of Serbia. It looks like they teamed as they both worked their way towards us instead of invading countries they could easily take such as Norway, Sweden, Ukraine and Russia. It might erupt into a full-scale war. Tips are always welcome:)Edit: welp, Finland attacked the German Empire.
