We were looking for a place to stay close to SDC after a recent visit. I ran across this place while looking on the internet and am so happy that I did.

It is a quaint little piece of peacefulness tucked back in the woods. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable as was the couch to sit and watch tv and unwind. We walked down to the water which was within sight of our room and even though it was too cold for us to enjoy it, we made plans to come back in the spring. We had actually wanted to come back after Christmas when we come to Branson to look at the lights, however they have a 21 day cancellation period and since there is no telling what the weather will be that time of year, I am afraid to book so chose a different place for this visit. That is the only real negative. They have a scavenger hunt for kids and adults, and place coins around for kids to find to earn kiyak rental and such.

Everyone was very friendly. We even had a group of deer wander from the woods above us right past our cabin down to the water. We are a family of seven, two adults, five kids. We stayed in a two bedroom condo, it had a king bed in one bedroom, two queens in the other and a fold out sofa in the living room. The unit was very clean, a little outdated, but provided everything we needed for our stay.

The property is absolutely beautiful. We saw geese and deer come right up to our condo. They had a family scavenger hunt throughout the property where you could hunt for gold coins and then trade them in for a prize, my six-year-old loved this! They have corn hole, tetherball, a boat dock where you can feed the fish or rent a boat. It is very likely we will stay her again, everyone was very friendly.

We recently stayed here in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment in Timber ridge area. Nothing fancy but it had all the essentials. We did not make us of the boats, or paddle boats.

Beds were kind of on the hard side and very little seating in living area. My sister complained of a slight sulfur smell in the master bath. What we did enjoy is the fact that it’s on Indian Point and so very little traffic heading to SDC, we seen quite a few deer when we there. We did make use of the indoor pool and the water wasn’t cold. I wish we had enough time to check out the entire resort but hopefully next time!!
